#Nevertrump Falling Apart. Some on way to #TrumpTrain.

In these videos, even Lindsey Graham, who once compared the choice of Donald Trump (and Ted Cruz) to picking between getting poisoned or shot in the head — migrating toward the idea of Donald Trump….

Trump: A Political Redemption and Reality Check.

Donald Trump has given people permission to actually say what they think. At first, when most of us meet someone who is uncommonly candid and highly combative, such as Trump, we tend to reject that person.

Trump’s political journey of the last eleven months been the sort of uprising we’ll likely never see again in our lifetime. For about a third of the country, Donald Trump was saying exactly what they were thinking and had been afraid to say. For many his style was very offensive. For others, what he was saying was both shocking and troubling.

Trump has been unwilling to change who he is to fit the political narrative or to capitulate to political operatives. The political establishment rarely faces a candidate unwilling to fall in line. Therefore, Trump has been an existential threat to their political existence. Much of the visceral behavior involved in the Republican primary has been the battle between the political insurgents, the voters and the establishment. Unfortunately, much of it was conflated onto Trump as a person.

As we unpack the last eleven months, we are beginning to see something I have been writing and speaking about on the radio since the moment Trump entered the race. Authentic people who act with resolve, confidence and an open-mind almost always win. After a very tough primary, Trump has shown an amazing humility to reach out to people who have recently been his arch rivals: Sen. Lindsey Graham, Speaker of the House – Paul Ryan, Former Texas Governor Rick Perry, Sen. Leader Mitch McConnell, New Jersey Governor Chris Christie, Dr. Ben Carson and many more.

One-by-one, Donald Trump has been re-uniting the Republican Party. For those that say Donald Trump is a narcissist, they clearly miss the fact that he’s now the one acting with the greatest of humility in victory. It takes quite a set of leadership skills to be able to reach out to someone like Lindsey Graham. Graham has stated that choosing Donald Trump for president would be like choosing between getting shot in the head and drinking poison. He went on to say “I also cannot in good conscience support Donald Trump because I do not believe he is a reliable Republican conservative nor has he displayed the judgment and temperament to serve as Commander in Chief.”

Friday, on CNN, Lindsey Graham amended his comments: “Well, my criticism has been wide and it’s been deep, but we did have a good conversation [Trump and I]. He asked good questions and I think he’s reconsidering a little bit about what to do in Syria. I don’t know if Hillary Clinton — what will Hillary Clinton do different than President Obama? President Obama has no strategy to destroy ISIL….It is uncomfortable to say that somebody is not qualified [Trump] who beat you. So the bottom line is the American people need to choose wisely. What will Hillary Clinton do different than Barack Obama?”

While this is still far from an endorsement, it’s even further away from the negative comments Graham less than a month ago. My criticism of Lindsey Graham has been extensive having lived in South Carolina for 17 years. I’ve never been a fan. However, the evolution of Graham’s commentary as a result of a phone call between he and Trump is extraordinary. In fact, it shows the kind of acumen, intelligence and persuasive ability I’ve been writing about since the beginning. I applaud both Graham and Trump for these efforts to make amends.
There is a lot of angst and anger in this country. For many, Trump has either been the voice for that anger or the fuel. Either way, his campaign has represented a cleansing of pent-up emotional resentments. Unpopular commentary that is deeply felt in the hearts and minds of Americans has now been expressed openly for months as part of the political debate. It’s as if we’ve all gone to confession and, for once, we have all been heard. Harsh debate can lead to lasting unity by purging resentments.

A shocking number of #nevertrump people in the Republican Party are coalescing around Donald Trump. While the Democrats are in turmoil with state leaders receiving dozens of death threats and Bernie Sanders not backing down, Republicans are beginning to unify around Trump. The national polls now showing Trump leading against Hillary Clinton and winning in Ohio.

Even the far-left liberal-media are making statements that are jaw-dropping. On Friday, Chris Matthews said this shortly after the National Rifle Associations’ endorsement of Donald Trump: “I think this is a cowboy country in spirit, self-reliance, drive your own car, people don’t like mass transportation. Drive around in their own car with their wife or husband or girlfriend and like to be on the road and that self-reliance of that gun. I don’t have that instinct. I know it’s out there and very much a part of our history . It just is. It’s in the constitution and in our history. We are uniquely pro-gun as a country, not like the Japanese or Chinese or English or French or the Germans. This country is unique! Today, we will see Donald Trump point to that.” Hearing those words on MSNBC (especially from Matthews) is an example of the effect Donald Trump is having on our political conversation. The light of reality is at least shining again.

Republicans have a long journey to November and face a Clinton-machine willing to do anything criminal, immoral or unethical to win. This presents a dangerous lack of moral compass for our nation.

This election is not about the Republican or Democrat party to the American people. It’s about mopping up the bloodbath that has been created by the political establishment in both parties. The silent majority has sat quietly while political fools have destroyed our nation. Trump has simply brought us a tremendous reality check. He also brought us political redemption.

#NeverTrump Crowd Chocked Full of Liberals, Losers and Filth

Congratulations to many of the #nevertrump conservatives! You’ve started a hashtag and movement on Twitter that’s ultimately become a bunch of vile, profane people who represent some of the worst hypocrites of conservatism in America. Even worse? Liberals have hijacked your thread. Your anger has clouded your good sense and judgment so much that you are taking up company with Obama-liberals in order to oppose your front-runner who, at worst, is moderately conservative. Sorry, but this behavior is the epitome of a ‘loser.’

When you get stuck in such a defeatist, angered set of actions, your judgment goes out the window. You ignore the fact that Republicans are having turnout that, in some cases, exceeds the movement that first elected Barack Obama. You miss that, in most states, your party has millions of people calling out for change. This is opportunity of unprecedented proportions yet you choose to burn down the house.

For the conservative media pundits and Republican leaders jumping on the #nevertrump bandwagon, you are throwing out decades of work to build your credibility because of unfettered emotions rooted in your hatred for one person (threatening your status of power): Donald J. Trump, Sr.

I would provide you with examples of some of the profile pages and tweets reflected in your movement of hate, but I wouldn’t want those things printed in an article with my name on it (can you blame me?). In addition to the language I’ve observed pundits who oppose Trump for his ‘inappropriate language and behavior’ calling his wife, Melania, a ‘whore.’ I saw another prominent conservative writer retweet that smear and celebrate it.

Have you ever wondered why the American people seem to be fleeing constitutional and conservative ideals? Citizens are nauseated by the constant preaching of morality by elected officials and pundits while observing their outright hypocrisy and lewd behavior. Most Republicans no longer lead by strength and example.

Our citizens, the constitution and conservatism have been imbrued by these failings. Loosely, I’ll use the word ‘we.” We will throw away the entire war for the sake of one small battle. And that is what #nevertrump conservatives are doing while they try to intimidate voters away from Trump; ignoring that every tweet, every rant, every article empowers the Trump vote even more. You want to stop Trump? Just shut up. You’ve lost most of us.

Many of these people are standing behind a man like Marco Rubio who comes up with child-like phrases such as “Conald Trump. He likes lawsuits, he should file a lawsuit about whoever did that to his face.” Or the greatest hit, “he flies around on Hair Force One.” Really? You want to elect this come-alive petulant-child who needs an extra dose of Adderrall to keep from crashing in a debate? This is your alternative? May I introduce you to Romney-fest part II?

You’re solution is to put a Junior Senator from Florida with no significant life’s accomplishments in the White House? Didn’t the democrats just try that with Obama? How has that worked for our Country? The ‘election-Viagra’ polls may state that Rubio will defeat Hillary Clinton. They’re wrong. Once the Clinton-machine gets done with him, he’ll be wishing for a debate performance as good as his New Hampshire robot-crash.

As of this writing, Rubio is polling 20 points behind in his home state for the March 15 primary. If his own constituents say “no thanks,” maybe you should listen! They know he’s not ready.

These #nevertrump conservatives take up company with internet thugs and liberals. They throw tantrums and they ignore the realities of their continued mistakes. As a result, the American people suffer with the alternative: liberalism. At least the Democrats are smart enough to fight conservatism instead of each other. In modern history, Democrats win because they don’t set fires in their own house.

If you want to beat Trump, you should recognize you only have one path, which requires you to chose someone you like less than Trump: Ted Cruz. This would require you to give Marco Rubio and John Kasich the boot.

Here’s why none of us Pro-Cruz and Pro-Trump people are listening to you: You can’t even decide on second and third place while facing what you believe is an existential threat. You’ve lost it. You need help. Please get some.

The #nevertrump conservatives’ behavior is akin to breaking the leg of the 6th-string player who made the most points in a basketball game in order to make sure he doesn’t outshine the starters ever again.

You never win, find success nor fulfill your purpose by bashing other people. Rather, you win by stating why you are the better choice and what you will do better than you competitors. Rubio and Cruz, to some extent, are struggling because of this. #Nevertrump people are actually now working for Trump they are so delusional. When you throw the first insult, you immediately become the villain in people’s minds, making the respondent (in this case Trump) the winner.

Whoever gets the most delegates, even if not the magic 1237 required to win, should be the nominee. If other shenanigans occur, and that is not the case, the Republican Party is finished.

My top two choices are winning, so keep spraying your hatred. It’s helping. However, it’s important to note that most Trump and Cruz supporters (which presently equal the majority of Republican voters) are sick of all you elite, know-it-all, establishment, smug, power-hungry control freaks and you’re about to lose a critical chunk of supporters forever. This would leave only diehard conservatives and the ‘waste’ of Republican leadership responsible for this crisis.

If it takes four years of Hillary Clinton to remove the waste from the Republican Party, then so be it.
